  1. •what is full lace wig & lace front wig ?

    Full lace wigs are manufactured with a cap, and a thin lace sewn on top of the cap. Individual hairs are then sewn into the thin lace. Full lace wigs will have lace all around the unit, and require the lace to be cut all around the unit. You will be cutting a hairline around your entire head. By doing so, once done you can wear your hair anyway you like, ponytails, up-dos etc. Think about it. With the wig, you have just cut yourself a new hairline around your entire head. Once the unit is applied, you will have on a full hair wig - but the front, back, and sides of the hair wig will not be like a regular wig. The wig will appear that all of the hair is growing directly from your head.

    Lace front wigs are manufactured with a thin lace that extends from ear to ear across the hairline. Lace front wigs are made similar to a regular ladies wig along the back and sides of the unit. When you receive the unit the lace will be really long in the front, you will cut the lace along the front of the unit. The goal here is to create a new hairline. You will not cut all of the lace, as you will apply adhesive to the lace/your new hairline. Once the unit is applied, you will have on a full hair wig - but the front of the hair wig will not be like a regular wig. The wig will appear that it is growing directly from your head.

    A lace front wig is not with lace around the back, so you cannot wear it in a high ponytail with back. A full lace wig is with lace all around available for being worn in a high ponytail, which will give a more natural looking than lace front wigs. That’s the only difference between full lace wig and lace front wig .

  2. •How do I know which product is the best for me?

    Full lace wig : versatile,easy to apply ,last within 6 months - 12months ,ever longer ,depends on how you treat it .You can cut it ,color it ,make different styles ,etc.

    Lace front wig: easy to apply ,last within 6 months-12months ,depends on how you treat it . And the the price for lace front wig is cheaper than full lace wigs .You also cut it ,color it ,but it’s not free parting all around the wig ,can not put on a ponytail .

    Wefts : easy to apply ,last within 6 months-8 months depends on how you treat it . You can cur it ,color it ,it’s versatile as well .

  3. •The difference between cap constructions ?

    Here we have 3 types wig construction for our customers . Actually there are more than 3 kinds of cap constructions ,but here those three are the most convenient and more recommended for customers .Coz most beginners are confused about it ,it sometimes takes lots of time to decide which one to choose .At wigencounters, you won’t have this concern .

    Full lace cap with stretch in the crown ,it needs to be glued down ,for those customers who don’t have hairs ,this is good choice .

    CAP-3 glueless lace cap,it has four combs in the cap .and adjustable strap at the back ,which is highly recommended for most wig beginners .

  4. •What are bleaching knots ?

    Bleached knots is a chemical process to make the wig look more natural by bleaching the black hair knot crochetted to the lace cap to a lighter one, similar to our own scalp color . One con of bleached knots process is that it would cause hair damage and shedding due to chemical is used during bleached knots process. So we highly suggest you to bleach knots just around the perimeter . At the same time, you could use the foundation or concealer of your skin tone to lighten the knots on full cap tp get the same natural look.

  6. •The difference between silky and yaki texture ?

    Silky straight hair texture is the natural state of the Indian Hair as it comes from the donor. It is look like the wig of white people. If you are Caucasian,we recommend you choose silky texture.

    Yaki texture is process we do to your wig that adds a micro kink to the hair strands to mimic Africa-American people relaxed hair.

  7. •How should I choose the lace color ?

    You want to match the lace color with your scalp complexion not your skin tone. This is because when you part the unit, you want it to appear as your natural scalp color. So to check your scalp color part your hair and look at the color of your scalp to determine your lace color.

    Follow These Guidelines

    Lace Choice Color: Transparent: For White, Off White or Cream scalp tones. Ie. Liv Tyler, Jessica Simpson, Jenna Jameson, Charlize Theron etc.

    Brown: For Light Beige or Beige scalp tones. Ie: Ciara, Eva Mendez, Eva Longoria

    Light Brown: For Light Brown scalp tones. Ie. Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Alica Keys, Rihanna

    Dark Brown: For Dark Brown scalp tones. Ie. Naomi Campbell, Serena Williams, Kelly Rowland

  8. •How to measure hair length ?

    The hair length should be from the head top to the hair bottom as the hair is straight. the curl and wavy wig is process from straight wig, so in the same length, curl and wavy wig will be shorter by 1"-2" (it depends on how deep the curl is) than straight wig.

  9. •Can I redye and restyle the wig ?

    The lace wig is made of 100% human hair, of course you can redye and restyle .Human hair wigs are very versatile . If you are experience in coloring this type of hair, you can do styling on the hair as you wish on your natural hair. But we recommend not to dye the lace wig since most of our products have been processed from natural black, especially wavy, curly or yaki hairs. During coloring, the hair may be over processed or damaged. We are not responsible for any damaged caused on the unit during dying.

  10. •What's a Widow's peak and natural hairline ?

    A Widow's peak is M shaped hairline or Pointed Hairline. For this, your front hairlines make the shape of M or come down in point above forehead.

    A natural hairline is a straight hairline. For this, the hair is growing out of scalp straightly above forehead.

  11. •Do I have to wear a wig cap with the wig?

    It’s up to personal preference ,you do not need to use any wig caps under the wig. You can easily part your own hair at the same point as your wig before wearing the unit, which will strengthen your parting on the wig while use.

  12. •Is the wig available for being parted as I wish?

    Yes, all our lace wigs can be parted anywhere, this is free styled. Our wigs are all freestyle. For full lace wig ,you can do whatever you want with it ;for lace front wig ,you can to make different part in the front area .

  13. •What are hair extensions ?

    Hair extensions are hair that is attached to your own hair to give you the appearance and feel of longer hair. Hair extension can be made from synthetic hair or from real human hair.

    There are many different types of hair extension, including:
    1. weaving - a process in which you create tracks on the individuals head and sew the hair extensions on. This method is the most widely used in adding hair extensions.
    2. Braiding - a process in which you add hair extensions by braiding them in. There are many types of braiding techniques such as cornrow but they vary from one beautician to another.
    3. Fusion - a process in which the extended hair is attached directly to your own hair by a heated glue stick. In this method, an acrylic glue stick is placed inside a glue gun that heats and melts the glue. The hair extension and the glue are then attached directly onto the individual's hair.
    Bonding - A simple method of extending hair. A bonding glue is brushed or applied onto the extension hair and then applied to the root of the real hair. This is more of a temporary method of extending hair.
    U - Tip - a process in which a "U" shaped spot of glue is already on the tip of the hair ready to be attached by using the hair extension iron.
    I - Tip - a process in which an "I" shaped spot of glue is already on the tip of the hair ready to be attached by using the hair extension iron or with a Ring. With the Ring, there's no heat applied to the hair.
    Ring - X - one of the new processes in which the metal ring is already on the hair ready to attach using the Ring - Xer. It is very easy to apply and can be re-used.

  14. •Can I cut or color wefts ?

    Of course you can cut the hair wefts ,you can cut them when you sewn in our own hair .Most hair extensions have been processed so shouldn't be coloured as it can damage the hair. If you need to make a colour match try coloring your natural hair to match the hair piece rather than the other way round. Or you could try combining two different colours of hair extension to obtain a more natural tone. However, if you feel you must dye the hair piece, start by depositing color from lighter to darker using non peroxide dyes. Test the colorant first with a small strand of hair. No, not as long as it is done properly by a professional and the hair is properly cared for afterwards.

  15. •Instruction for daily use

    1.Keep the hair clean .We suggest that you wash the hair at least once or twice a week with warm water .Please wash the hair immediately after swimming, spa, exercise, and etc. When dirt ans sweat accumulate,hair tangles. Too much leave-in condition and other hair care products will create a build up on the hair and will cause it to tangle faster .If the hair feels dry or heavy with buildup,wash it with good shampoo& conditioner .

    2.Before washing the hair ,spray mixture of conditioner and water and brush the hair from bottom up. You must gradually wet the hair down and brush it gently before you completely wash the hair .If the hair was very dry and a lot of water is added at once ,hair will swell up like sponge and tangle ! Therefore ,it’s important to gradually wet the hair and brush .

    3.After wetting the hair add shampoo and conditioner and brush thoroughly .Be sure to wash and brush the hair in one direction. Rinse the hair completely with water and towel dry .It’s best to air dry but you can also blow-dry with low to medium heat.

    4. Make sure you brush the hair daily and apply some leave-in conditions so that the hair is soft and moist .

    5.When swimming ,always wear a cap to prevent prolong exposure to the chlorine or salt water which causes the hair to tangle.

    6.Make couple of big braids when going to sleep,swim or exercise .NEVER SLEEP ON WET HAIR.Make sure the hair is completely dry before going to bed .

  17. •Can I shower or swim with a lace wig on ?

    Yes, you definitely can. Well! However, your hair may be damaged by chlorine and salt water and these damages cannot be repaired. So, it is suggested not to make your expensive lace wig touched with chlorine or salt water. If you suggest to do this, you should make sure that the hair will be washed and deep conditioned once after your swimming. You had better put waterproof adhesive or tape on your lace cap when you swim. It is recommended you to wash it after you swim with it. Anyway, you can exercise in your wig.

  18. •How to make my wig look natural ?

    In this section ,we really want to let all our customers know that ,we have easier and healthier way to make our wigs look natural .Instead of over bleaching knots ,we prefer using concealer or foundation to cover knots .It’s actually help our wig last longer and decrease the shedding problem .Watch this video to see how we achieve a natural look .

  19. •How do maintain my wig when I don't use it ?

    Put your hair in dry and clean place ,avoid dazzling light . It’s better to use a box to put in your wig .Before put your wig alone ,remember washing your wig and let it air drying .Using comb brush hair smoothly ,to prevent from tangling . Perform a co-wash once in 2-3 weeks.

  20. •How can I avoid my hair from shedding ?

    Here are some tips helpful on prevention of shedding hair overfull.
    It is all right for light shedding, but if the hair shedding on your full lace wig is more than our natural hair, this will be abnormal.
    Be sure NOT TO apply any products including alcohol onto the hair of your full lace wig, such as some kinds of hair spray, because these improper products will lead to damage the hair and hair shedding will be found easily.
    You may braid up the hair of your full lace wig or tie it in a ponytail before going to sleep so as to avoid any tangles. You'd better to use a scarf on your head or a hair bonnet when sleeping, which will reduce less breaking and shedding of the hair for your full lace wig.
    Remember that chlorine and salt water may cause damage to the hair of full lace wig, so you need to wear a swim cap during swimming or wash the full lace wig after swimming to avoid chlorine and salt water left on the hair of your wig. After washing, use TDi Knot & Tape Tab Sealer to seal the knots onto the inside of your lace wig cap again in order to firm the knots on each hair tile for protection from shedding .

  21. •How shall I prevent the lace wig from tangling ?

    You may choose a satin pillowcase for night sleep in order to avoid friction. Cotton pillowcases with fibers rub against your hair, oppositely, satin pillowcases let the hair slip freely. Also for cheaper cost, you can place a satin petticoat or nightie over your cotton pillows. However, the effects will be also obviously different. Do not wear any barrettes or clips on your hair overnight as these accessories will be difficult to remove after one night. Also during washing hair, tangles may be also created due to scrubbing the hair. Before showering, you need to detangle the hair and apply Silicon Mix Revitalizing Shampoo on your scalp. If you rinse the Silicon Mix Revitalizing Shampoo onto the hair enough, there is no need to scrub the hair, and by this, the hair will be cleaned well. Later, you shall comb through your hair with a wide-toothed comb and make the conditioner rinse onto your hair. By this way, you do not need to take detangling on wet hair. Let the hair dry naturally instead of rubbing it by a towel. Keep Your Hair Tied Up: Loose hair easily get tangled and damaged due to rubbing with your clothes and being caught by straps of handbags. The most proper to protect hair from tangling is to make braids. You may practice braiding your hair during the night. When you have been already with the skill for braids, you can wear braids in various types during the day. Meanwhile, buns are also way for protection of hair from tangles. By this method, we can keep short hair out of harmfulness. Removing Knots From Hair: Bobble-tipped brushes might cause damage to your hair and can not remove any knots as you suppose. You shall use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to detangle the hair starting from the bottom several inches to up towards. You can begin with the bottom of a knot and remove it out, instead of pulling it widely. After detangling, you shall take a boar bristle brush for polishing and protecting your hair from damage.

  22. •How often should I wash my hair?

    We recommend washing your hair at least once a week. Keep in mind that it is advised not to sleep on wet hair.
